I hardly ever write reviews. Although I felt like it was necessary for this place. I travel a lot for work to the US and have had "the most famed" BBQ spots in every Southern city. And I can tell you this place holds there own compared to these. Brisket was amazing, Texas dry rub style. But then offers some amazing home made BBQ sauces for those who like sauce. For it to be good BBQ the sides have to be as good as the meat in my opinion. And here the potato salad and mac/cheese were amazing. 100% will be going back.
I don't know how this place isn't more busy! The best bbq food i have tried and if you look at my reviews i have been to the best of them. The owner takes great pride in what he puts out, a small family business with everything made from scratch. Pls support local and one final point: I would be shocked if you don't go back.
Peake BBQ is our favourite go-to restaurant in Alliston. The food quality is fantastic....great flavour, and mouth-watering. The sides are as great as the mains. The portions are generous. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The service is always great, often exceeding our expectations. Our online orders are acknowledged quickly and the food is always ready fo pick-up when we arrive. We appreciate that Sean supports local meat producers too. Peake BBQ is a treasure. Absolutely delicious food!
Love these people always so friendly and they are on the correct side of the fence π. I enjoyed a nice cold beer and a grill cheese brisket this afternoon. They are truly passionate towards their good delicious Texan brisket and definitely patriots π¨π¦
One of my favorite smokehouses in Ontario, run by a lovely couple who take pride and passion in what they do. Highly recommend the smoked brisket and the smoked ribs. Their cornbread is a fantastic side that you must absolutely get as well, they have several hot sauces (including a ghost pepper one if you'd dare to try π). For dessert you can't go wrong with their in house pecan or lemon key lime pie. I try to drop in whenever I get the chance. Excellent food, lovely Texan ambience and great value, could not recommend more.
This place isnt just "good for alliston" it's some of the best barbeque in ontario!
My only complaint is that it doesn't have a presence. No patio. No live music. Usually empty (I'm guessing most people get takeout) and always looks closed. That said, I can get over it because the food is so good.
Very good bbq, if you like bbq and brisket then I highly recommend you come and try this place. The brisket was very tasty and cooked perfectly. The tacos were also very delicious.
