Best Beer battered fish I have had yet in Durham...even more flavorful than some restaurant that just do fish are Newfoundland cuisine restaurants. Frozen custard was a nice. Lots of space in this place. Staff are friendly. If you have have a large party, and punctual plus familiar with the menu I would call ahead so the chef can get the food prepped so you won't have to wait long. Everything is made fresh so items can run out especially if there was a large event the previous night.

Great open concept. Talked to a fellow Devon very friendly. I went for comedy night on Wednesday’s.They had about seven comedians some where not bad. Not the most professional but guess you have to start somewhere.They have special on there beers 25 dollars a bucket. I had wings the sauce was good but the wings where a little shabby. Would definitely go back. Heard they have paint nights and also plant nights where you make little terrain sculptures. Love the clean big fresh bathrooms. It was so liberating to be able to close the door behind you and have room.

We came here for Plant Nite and decided to try the food. It was very average to say the least. My friend wanted chicken souvlaki on her salad but the chef was unable to meet her request even when she said she would pay extra. However, I got a chicken souvlaki dinner so I don’t understand why it wasn’t possible. Food was mediocre.

Friendly staff greeted us as soon as we walked in to the Resto Lounge. Our group ordered a variety of dishes our food came right away. Every thing was hot and fresh and the dishes that were going to take a little longer, we were notified right away but worth the wait! The food was delicious! The portions were a generous size and the prices were amazing for the amount you get! No watered down drinks here folks, lol! you could get real happy with them! If you like hot and spicy, I would highly recommend the spicy pepper shrimp-so much flavor! The fish & chips were crispy and yummy! the menu is small with a Caribbean touch but well done with choices of chicken, ox tail,pasta and salad dishes were all nicely presented and according to my group, all delicious! Resto Lounge is also casual and kid friendly, they even have Paint night events, Karaoke nights, live music and more! Needless to say.... It was all good and I will be going back! Highly recommended! Didn’t know what to expect from this place and I’m so happy we came, the food is amazing! We were in the mood for Jamaican food but wanted to go somewhere with a nice atmosphere instead of doing the usual takeout that we are never really impressed with. We ordered the Oxtail gravy poutine, pepper shrimp and jerk chicken with rice and peas and let me tell you every dish was flawless. It was hot, well seasoned and reasonably priced. This place needs to be marketed better, for one their should be an actual sign outside and the name of the place doesn’t do it justice as you would never know they had West Indian cuisine here. I checked out their IG and it’s lacking, this place should be packed in my opinion because besides Island mix, there isn’t another place in Durham that has a nice dine in West Indian cuisine option. The fish and chips are incredible here! The prices are great, the drink specials are an awesome deal, and the staff are super friendly and cool to chat with. Plus they have a pool table, which is super fun! They also have live music and karaoke some nights. I highly recommend this place!

The boss is a pleasant man to talk to, the food is great with a. Relative price point where it will not break the bank there is always entertainment going on if not live performances they is live music or recordeded music great staff, the menu is consistently changing to see what people like! Great servings and large food for the money you pay!

Great Food, Great Service, Great Atmosphere! My family and I attended my uncle's 70th birthday party at LIVE (stayed at Homewood Suites by Hilton). The food came out hot, portions were good and the food was really tasty. The wait staff was exceedingly nice and accommodating. The atmosphere was very relaxing, comfortable, and more importantly family friendly. I also loved the outdoor seating. Overall experience was excellent and I would highly recommend this place.

Took almost 3 hours to get our food and the food came out cold and burnt. Do not recommend.
