Review Apple Creek Golf Course - Airdrie

I have played this course twice this week and have genuinely enjoyed both rounds. The protected wetlands and the restrictions around them have forced me to lay up and focus on my target more than other local courses. I enjoy the challenge and the beautiful scenery. The halfway house being so accessible during the round is also great to grab a snack or drink between holes. The prices are competitive and I have had no issues getting a tee time so I will be back soon!

I have photographed a few weddings here ( Kathleen’s Diamond Photography ) & also attended MANY events… The staff is so wonderful to work with & also to host a staff party… The food is amazing each time..! Melissa is wonderful at her job, I been to many venues before & you can tell that Melissa loves what she does… If you’re looking for a wedding or to host an event, this is a great place…!!!

Tough links style course. Has some challenging holes, with the greens being nicely protected by high brush. A nice 600+ yard par 5. Too bad the island tee box wasnt open, that would be fun. The course did get backlogged a bit. Its nice that the halfway house is accessible after every few holes. The clubhouse was decent. Had some wings and a beer.

Great food & service. Large arcade so it’s fun for the whole family, even if you aren’t a golfer

Absolutely love this course. It is much more challenging than Woodside and yet it is more affordable than Woodside. If you haven't played Applecreek yet and you live in Airdrie or Calgary well grab your phone and book a tee time. There is even two or three drivable par four holes for long ball hitters like me. I got my first par 4 eagle on the 305 yard par 4 (see GPS tracked drive 307 yards) , landing it eight feet from the pin off my drive! The natural environmental hazards around the green will push you to improve your approach game. Great food, nice pro shop, and the design and positioning of the large snack shack and bar is fantastic!

Apple creek golf course **Driving Range... a - Nice long / wide area b - No fence around it and Hole 10 is to the right I believe **Golf Course... a - This is a nice 18 Hole course b - Tricky fast greens surrounded by creeks / water c - Some greens are hard to make out because of the Water areas with tall grass d - Quality shots are a must at areas or the course will take away your golf balls as punishment (Bring extra balls) e - Found some of the fairways tight to one another f - The layout of the course is good (Always pass by the House in the middle - Coffee / Treats / Beer / Etc) g - Bring your long game as you will need it **Country club... a - The customer service is amazing (Easy to talk with / Always Smiling)... Jenny waited on us b - The food was delicious and found it reasonably priced... (Good size and high quality)

Nice course but too many environmentally friendly areas as hazards, no sand traps 😑

Golfed here Sunday Sept 11th. Great links style course which is adaptable for a long-ball driver. Greens and tee boxes were very well maintained, the fairways however were mostly 'rock solid' due to no irrigation for all 18 holes-though I know how much of an impact it would be to install it now. Google rating of 4.1 seems fairly accurate, though from my experience I'd give 4.5 😊. Only slight negative was the starter seemed really aggressive in saying all the rules...friendly but not quite welcoming. I 'know' golf so maybe it should be asked before going into a spiel. It did take 4.5 hrs for 18 even though pace of play was steady. Closing note, never got to try the breakfast but how COMMENDABLE to offer a $5 breakfast from 730-1030. Unheard of! And I heard the food was really good, can't wait to come back and try it!

Fantastic golf course. Not only is it very well maintained. The servers are extremely friendly. When I sat down for lunch, I was promptly informed that the flat iron was down but offered many alternatives. I would give 10 stars if possible. The server Melissa was especially exceptional

Pretty good relatively in expensive course. Be ready to loose some balls in the protected environment areas though.

Price is the best. The greens are a bit tough because most of them are hidden by rough and ravines. No sand bunkers.

Tough course! Beautiful and accomidating! Staff is great. 10th tee is stunning 😍 everyone from Calgary should play at least once . some of my friends say it's too hard, others say it fits their game perfect. Myself.. I just love the property!
