Pork pot stickers and salt & pepper wings to start. Wings excellent, pot stickers get a pass. Fish & Chips and T&T Club with Onion Rings as main dishes. Fish was greasy but tasted great, Club was a wrap and had great taste, rings were good. Service was excellent, pricing was fair, I would go back.
We've eaten here a few times, sadly some of our favourites are gone in favour of a summer menu that isn't as appealing to us. Our last visit was a quick lunch while D was working and I had the day off.
He had the BBQ Brisket Sandwich with fries and gravy, and I had the Steak n Prawns special with fries and a side of gravy as well. I also tried the elderflower cider, which was delicious but very unusual in flavour so D didn't like it but I found it unique and worth trying again.
The Steak was a little over for me, I like mine medium rare and bordering on rare but it was closer to medium. Still the seasoning was great and the fries were good, especially with the nice thick gravy. The prawns were fresh, but it would have been nice to have a few more of them.
We'll be going back but probably not too often until the next menu change.
By far the best the BEST local bar/pub in Airdrie. Would recommend this place to anyone to everyone!!!!
Love the food! Great service! It was awesome to watch canada win the gold there today.
Our Lunch group of 15-20 business owners meet here every week, staff is prepared, organized and super helpful!
Food has always been great, even accommodating special requests last minute.
I personally have hosted client events and have had great experiences.
They have also gone out of their way to help local non profits with events!
Thanks guys!
Excellent beer selection (for Airdrie), had the pulled pork kettle chips and adored them, but the waitress was too interested in flirting it up with the cute cowboys than taking care of two girls on a night out.
Nice atmosphere. Really nice pub feel inside, and my food was good. Friendly servers, no complaints
My friends and I go here all the time. Great food incredible atmosphere. We always have a good time, Manegment is awesome!

Date Night worthy. My husband and I went thought we would try the New Toad N Turtle in Airdrie since we hadn't been there yet. The only thing that I wasn't necessarily happy about was that they were out of Maple Bacon Scallops. I had the shrimp lettuce wraps, which were crisp and had a nice fresh flavour. My husband had the mushroom stuffed tortellini and loved it. The wait staff were pleasant, our food and beverages came quickly and the washrooms were very clean. We will definitely go back.
AMAZING AWESOME FOOD. I was at school today and it was one of my fellow schoolmates birthday. and she wanted chicken wings, so we ended up getting chicken wings, and OMG best chicken wings ever, Totally recommended to everyone.
Good people Great top-quality food come and enjoy you'll like our wraps n fish n chips
Have been to the toad a couple of times and I have nothing but good things to say about this place. Food is excellent, staff is friendly... This is defiantly my new favorite place to go.
WOW! I'll never go anywhere else. Firstly I don't usually take the time to comment on a place but everyone NEEDS TO KNOW about THIS PLACE! I've been to the one in Calgary but that one doesn't compare. I've visited the pub in Airdrie a few times since it opened. Of course, with any business you expect rough starts. Nothing rough about this place. Management clearly knows their stuff and it seems they've been doing this for a long time! The place is clean and comfortable. Their servers are prompt, friendly and always remember me when I go back. Management always checks to make sure everything is going great and I just know that if anything was wrong (which hasn't happened) that they would make sure it was made right...
I frequently patronize restaurants and pubs in the area. I've had to wait in line to get into this place and don't mind at all. I won't go anywhere else. I want to spend my money where it's worth it and this place fits the bill!
Great food, Friendly staff and just minutes from North Calgary. Best wings!!!! We wanted to try a new spot for wings and a great choice it was! $.30 wings and they were HUGE!!!!! 1 order of 10 and I was full. Staff were very friendly!! We'll be back for sure.
AMAZING. I was at the Toad and Turtle for the first time Wednesday night for their famous wings I have been hearing about, and wow was I ever impressed! First, the room was absolutely beautiful and clean with lots of TV's so there is not a bad seat in the house! Second, having been in the hospitality industry for close to 18 years, I am always extra understanding when people are busy and fully expect to wait a few minutes for the server to say hello. Well, this place was PACKED with a line up and the server was there seconds after I sat down! She was so friendly and professional! I ordered a pint of Stella and my husband ordered a Guiness. Literally, within minutes both were presented for to us ice cold and his Guiness even had a perfect shamrock on the top! We ordered salt and pepper and garlic parmesan wings and an order of Maui ribs. The wings were amazing! So big and hot I could barely eat 5 of them. The ribs were also outstanding, a little messy so I had to use a fork, but so tender! Everyone that walked by our table was smiling and happy and I was so impressed by the teamwork, if there was an empty glass or plate on our table, anyone that walked by just grabbed it, even though they weren't our server. The manager came over to see how everything was, and I couldn't say enough of how much I loved it there. I would definitely recommend this as a destination spot for food, atmosphere, a place to party or just to relax with a few drinks. Two thumbs up!
Great draft and scotch selection. Great service waitress respected my wife by NOT trying to work the tip. Food was decent, had the butter chicken.
Pretty Tastey!. Hubby and I went for the first time since it opened and we were pretty pleased with it. It was already pretty busy at 5pm on a Friday night but we were lucky to not have to wait more than a couple minutes for a table to be cleaned for us. Server was cheerful and efficient. Food was timed a bit off (main dishes came out only a few minutes after the appy even though the appy was ordered a good 10 min before we decided on main dishes) but I can chalk that up to new opening quirks. Plates were not hot so the food wasn't exactly steaming, however, it was acceptable for having only been open a short time and still tasted DELICIOUS.
Don't go in expecting everything to be perfect while they work out the kinks but I see this place becoming quite the gem in our "little town" of Airdrie once things get under control and more consistent.
I visited the toad and turtle for the first time since it opened earlier this week. It was so busy in there! All the girls I saw smiled, the GM was so helpful, and the food was amazing! Can't wait to go back!!!
Opening Week - The food is delish. Have had the opportunity to darken the door of this Pubhouse and Grill in the first week of it's opening. Greeted by a kilt wearing hostess, sets the tone! Please respect that with it being newly opened a little tweeking is nessecary but........ The staff and management certainly want you to have the best possible dining time. We did have a fairly large table, called ahead. There was a slight delay, mixup with the kitchen at one point, the hostess was trying to help and took our food to another table. The food missing was recooked immediatley and both the server and the day manager came by to apologize, more then once.
Overall the experience has been enjoyed, food is hot, staff cares and I will be back!
