OMG! As GO TO as it sounds, they both taste phenomenal and perfect. Prices are great. Very clean and great service.
I visited around 6pm and the restaurant was busy but not overcrowded- a nice atmosphere:) The food was delicious and looked gorgeous when served. The service was a little bit slow but they were very friendly and apologetic so it did not bother me at all. The menu has something for everyone!! I would recommend the sushi pizza, although it’s strange in concept, it’s absolutely delicious. I will definitely be visiting with friends and family again!
Me and my girlfriend go here regularly, we both love and have made it pretty much a weekly outing. The food is brought out in a matter of minutes and the plate looks beautiful, they really take pride in making the food look as good as it taste. As for the service, it’s very well done. You will never have to flag a server down or even put your cup at the end of the table indicating that you need more water, pop etc....
Overall a great little restaurant that makes a lasting impression would recommend to all my friend and family that visit and live in Airdrie.
Great food. Atmosphere is a little too quiet for me but the staff has always been friendly and the food has always been good. Will definitely eat here again.

Amazing this is my favourite restaurant ever such a nice variety of sushi and everything tastes amazing. The only down fall is that i can't eat there more often
Really enjoy this place for the most part but can be hit and miss. They have a $21 all you can eat that is worthwhile. The reason they don't get a higher rating is that I was there with a my family and only some of us wanted the all you can eat. They made us separate from sitting with the group...

This place is great! Service is excellent and food is awesome! By far the best sushi place I have been in Airdrie so far. Lots to choose from off the menu. Quality of the sushi is good too. Super impressed overall.
This is mine and my boyfriends favorite place to eat sushi at! Would never complain, such friendly service and we will usually eat there weekly! It's pretty quiet and the sushi is always cooked amazing. Wold recommend it to anyone!
It's amazing that with all of the wonderful sushi restaurant that have popped up in the Calgary area that a very appetizing one popped up in my own neighborhood.
My now 9 year old son and I have made a long tradition of biking on Airdrie trails and treating ourselves afterwards to sushi at Zenbu.
Today's visit was no exception to a fine fresh sushi experience that I have had in numerous sushi restaurants in Calgary. We came in off time, but service was courteous and sushi was fresh. I introduced fresh tuna nigiri to my son today. His response, with eyes closed, was "that's the stuff!"
As such I am giving a solid 4.5 to this restaurant. Fresh tasty sushi and Korean cuisine.
We will be back many more times.
Love this place! It's close to home, the service is always wonderful and the sushi is so yummy delicious. One of our favourite places in Airdrie to eat out at.

The service is always fabulous and great food. My favorites are the spicy salmon crunch roll, yam tempura roll and negi toro roll.
Zenbu is amazing and has great service. Everytime I come to Airdrie to visit friends I beg my friends to go out and eat here. I love the assorted tempura and chicken yakitori so hot and delicious. This restaurant is honestly an Albertan gem
We have been going to Zenbu since they opened and we really enjoy it. Recently I took my daughter and 2 of her friends and they had never been to a sushi restaurant. It was loved by all.

Recently me and my best lady bish decided we would make thursday, friday and sunday our designated nites for trying all the local cuisines in are home city of airdree. So last thursday after a few hours of research using the internet! we decided we were in the mood for some authentic chinese sushi, so i put on my brand new blue eye shadow and my going out sweats and we hit the town. when we entered the sushi dojo we were greeted by the head cook with some loud ching chong talk. I didnt understand a word he said but i smiled polietly and bowed as i consider myself to be very worldly. we were then seated in a nice corner booth and began our journey far east into the mysterioius orient. for drinks we ordered the socky and asai combo. this was my first time trying socky. I put the cup to my mouth and inhaled deeply as the steam rose unwarily into my nostrils. my senses immediately became heightened as my first sip explored the inside of my mouth. I imagined myself bathing high upon a mountain top in a natural hot spring in the chen chen province after a long day of travel on the silk road. after sipping drinks and chatting about this for a while our main course arrived. tempura, deepfried california roll and the california roll. considering sushi is from china i found it a little weird so many rolls had the name california in them! but hey, while in rome right!! or airdree in this case lol I began by dressing all my rolls with a generous blanketing of wasabee and soy sauce. I tried to focus on my rolls but almost as by some sort of primitive instinct my eyes began to unabashedly wonder towards the tempura. NO! i told myself as i bit my bottom lip and awkwardly fumbled with my chop sticks. As i tasted my first roll i immediately became overwhelmed with a turbulent euphoria throughout my entire body. i leaned forward as i swallowed and peeled my sweat covered shirt from the seat of the booth. next up was the tempura i had been so vehemently fantasizing about earlier. its crunchy texture combined with the tenderness of the prawn made for the ultimate pairing of east meets west. I closed my eyes, pressed my pointer and middle finger to my mouth then raised them slightly to towards the sky and thanked oden, the god of sea for the bountifulness offeringings of his children. Once we finished up and I had drank the remainder of my soy sauce the geisha lady came and cleared our dishes. I bowed at her as a sign of my respect, gratitude and most importantly friendship. although we couldn't communicate with words i feel like the way our eyes connected said more than any thing in the human language. It was as-though i was saying hello and thank you to a long lost friend from another life time. our bill came to about $70 cad im not sure how many dongs this is in china but i feel like it would be close to ones months salary, so i didnt feel to bad for splurging! As we walked out of the restaurant the sun kissed my face and sweat pants and I began to reminisce about my experience of the mysterious orient and couldn't help but to ponder, would i return? would they remember me? and if they did how long would it be until we all started a family of our own together. this was my experience with zenbu. if you consider yourself brave, bold and willing to dive into the unknown i would strongly recommend this restaurant to you. Very fresh and flavourful sushi. The tempura is nice and crispy, with lovely dashi dipping sauce. Some very inventive and delicious rolls! And many delicious appetizers. Especially the gyoza and tuna tataki.
This is my favourite restaurant in Airdrie. Even we live a bit far from Airdrie. We are still coming Zenbu. The Rolls and Sushis are always delicious, I love Spicy Chicken Bulgogi and BeebeemBob. Their service is always impeccable. Yesterday, I have tried Crazy Spicy Prawn and it is just Yummy!! Everyone has to try this. We love Zenbu and we will be back soon.
In all honesty, there are better places for sushi in Airdrie. That being said, the rest of the menu is really good! Especially the Korean dishes. We have never had a disappointing meal from Zenbu!
The food is always delish!
Excellent authentic food and beautiful setting. My husband and I have been going to Zenbu for over a year now. We ADORE it. Though my hubby is not much in to Japanese food, he loves the Bulgogi and Korokke (potato patties...incredible).
I have tried the Japchae (japanese noodles), tofu teriyaki (which comes with amazing Miso soup), Vegetable sushi and Tempura.
I love the quality of food and the flavors. Though I am a plant based eating person (with occasional eggs), I find the menu to be suitable for vegetarians and not bad for vegans.
The decor and cleanliness of this place is immaculate. You feel like you are in a high end Japanese restaurant. Last year, they used to give out free appetizers but have since stopped. Either way, for the price you pay, the food is AWESOME!!
Very good. I'm Japanese and I also like Korean foods. Overall I like this place. The raw fishes are quite good and fresh, and sushi rice is nicely steamed-cooked. so many other places even don't know how to properly cook steamed rice for sushi. Korean foods are great too as I believe most of workers there are Korean. Only thing I really could not accept is the seaweed salad with coloring that makes your tongue green eww. I hope they stop using that unnecessary coloring.

LOVE it here!. This is by far, hands down, my favorite sushi place in Airdrie (and Calgary, for that matter!). We go here at least once a month and it has become our go-to for sushi, even though we drive past at least three other places on the way. It's always fresh and delicious and the service is great!
Consistent and good. We eat here at least once a week and it's always good. Sushi is fresh, kimchi is delicious and they have a nice little selection of sakes. I highly recommend it.

Pretty Good. I've been here at least five or six times and have never had a bad experience. I usually order the bibimbap, which is good although it doesn't come in a sizzling bowl and no raw egg - but it does come with tons of gochujang, luckily!
The sushi, in my experience, has been good, too. Always sizeable cuts of fish, no stinginess.
Would recommend.

Best Sushi Anywhere. We went to Zenbu last night for my husbands birthday.
Our server was very sweet and greeted us right away. The Sashimi Beebeem Bob
came out in about 5minute! They were so yummy!
The Chili Crazy Prawn are amazing! The Sushi Pizza was also very tasty.

This place blew me away, everything I had was above spectacular from taste to presentation. The service is sooo friendly and the price is right too. I HIGHLY recommend zenbu, I would come here again and again.
Great sushi, good price.. Being from British Columbia, we were a bit hesitant of 'Alberta sushi', but when we first tried Zenbu it turned out to be fresh, and a great value for the money. I love the menu with the photos, too, very informative for someone who may not be familiar with specific menu items.

The prices are reasonable. We had several rolls and spicy chicken bulgogi..all well prepared and tasty. Nice big chunks of fish in the spicy tuna rolls. I just cannot forget about it. Lastly, the owner is extremely friendly. Definitely try Zenbu! You will not be disappointed!
Friend and I come a couple a times a month and it is amazing. There sushi is terrific and if I had to recommend one item it would be there crazy shrimp its awesome words can't describe how great this place is. My only minor complaint would be the service but the food makes up for this.

This is a Japanese and Korean restaurant but we have only had the Japanese which is excellent. Incredible quality seafood, lovely service and a really pretty fit out you don't expect from the outside. Also very nice to get the complimentary starter - very rare these days and delicious. 10/10.

Surprisingly YUMMY!. Had an amazing meal today at Zenbu with some fantastic customer service. We had the assorted Tempura, Sushi combo. It was clean fast and so good!
Good place for Korean. This place is mostly a Sushi Restaurant but they have a few Korean Dishes. Bi Bim Bap, Bulgogi, Sashimi on Bi Bim Bap and Kalbi. They come with a tray or three korean side dishes. The presentation, setting, and service was wonderful. I had the Sashimi on Bi Bim Bap with a Japanese beer. This is a wonderful dish served mostly in Japanese restaurants in Korea. Oddly enough, I come across it rarely in Japanese or Korean Restaurants anywhere else in the world. Zenbu's version tasted very authentic and delicious. Will visit again to try out their Bulgogi and Bi Bim Bap.
We ordered take out and it was fantastic. We were worried it would take a while given the traffic inside but they were very quick and reasonably priced. They have a great selection of rolls and my new favorite is the philadelphi roll.
Simply solid. Best sushi by far in Airdrie.

Two thumbs up!. We've eaten at Zenbu now probably 10-12 times. We have taken company and family and have never had a bad meal. The service is usually very friendly and attentive. We have tried an array of entree's from sushi to teriyaki tofu, teriyaki salmon, Bulgolgi, etc. No one has ever been disappointed. I would highly recommend this restaraunt. It's about time there was somewhere decent to eat in Airdrie!!
Delicious. Way better than the Japanese/Korean fusion restaurants in Calgary. We had some spicy tuna crunch roll (Spicy tune with chip bits?) It was yummy. We also ordered an Udon, Sashimi Bibimbap, and chicken teriyaki. I know we didn't get to try too many of the sushi dishes, but the hot dishes and the bibimbap was really good. I especially loved the sashimi bibimbap, it's a nice idea to mix korean style bibimbap with sushi. Overall, I would come again to try more of their dishes. Staff was friendly, food came out in good time and the decor of the place is really nice and pretty. Definitely recommend.
Went here with my wife 2 weeks ago. Very nice, contemporary style, atmosphere. The food was delicious and very fresh, being from vancouver we were spoiled with the sushi there and it's hard to find good sushi places out here and this is one of them! the service was quick and pleasant. We will definitely be going back over and over.
Best Sushi in Airdrie. Good Sushi has never been synonymous with the word Airdrie beside it. When my wife suggested we go out to eat in Airdrie I had reservations. When she suggested Sushi in Airdrie I cringed!
The moment we walked into Zenbu I became curious that maybe, just maybe there was hope. From the very tastefully decorated small restaurant to the cool menu's and video menus on the wall I slowly warmed up to the place.
But the food and friendly service was not something I expected for Airdrie as it was beyond my expectations for the night.
We will no longer have to drive to Calgary for great Sushi as Zenbu did not dissapoint.

Best sushi I've had in a while. Assorted tempura with pumpkin, sweet potato and shrimp were amazing. Dynamite roll so far my fav. Super nice people and beautifully done decor.
Love it. Visited Zenbu for lunch with a girlfriend and was greeted immediately when I arrived. We ordered and the service was awesome but the sushi was so very good. We used to drive into Calgary but will be keeping our business in Airdrie. Great great great all around.
Great food good price !. The food was exquisite, tasty, freshly cooked, generous portions, presented beautifully and great value. Some of us ended up ordering 5 dishes ranging from sides, desserts, mains and starters. The staff, one lovely lady is extremely friendly with customer satisfaction on her mind at all time. Look forward to going again soon!

Wonderful. We tried zenbu for dinner on a recommendation. We were back the next day for lunch! Comfortable atmosphere where you really feel welcome. The food was beautifully presented and tasted wonderful. Very good prices for the service and quality. Next time going with a gang to experience more of the sushi menu.
Authentic!!!. This place is a dream come true! Freshly opened within a month and already they have reached 90% from reviewers! Locally owned!! Great way to support local! Sushi was extremely fresh and the flavor was just melt in your mouth good. We tried the Tonkatsu, Korokke, Takoyaki, Korean style Gyoza, Beebee bob, and a few rolls including the delicious Mango Paradise roll. All of these were made with perfection and well received by our family of 4. Even our 6 month old was in love with the tofu! Reasonably priced and great location (for us its a 5 minute drive!). Customer service was amazing. We are definately going back!!!
I added this restaurant to Urbanspoons awhile ago, it is absolutely the best hidden gem in Airdrie. It isn't the typical looking Japanese/Korean restaurant with the cheesy decor, this is well thoughtout design and amazing food and staff to go along with it.
