Amazed at the happy hour menu as it seems SHRINKFLATION is a thing. Ordered the cauliflower bites and the spicy crispy chicken and pickles. 5 pieces of cauliflower and the chicken was so small they were dry and so salty. Guessing it was an off day? We would have ordered some main dishes but we were just so disappointed with the portion.

Went out for a casual dinner. Have only been to Browns in NewWestminster for lunch once before. Was definitely not disappointed! Great atmosphere, very friendly hostess who greeted us warmly and sat us promptly. Our server - Austin - was engaging and attentive. Our drinks and appy order were brought promptly. Food was well prepared and delicious. MUST highly recommend the "carrot cake" for dessert. Perfect balance of savory spices and just enough sweetness to be the perfect end to a meal. We'll be back!! Boyfriend and I ordered for Valentine’s Day through skip the dishes. I ordered the #28 Dragon Bowl as I was looking for something on the lighter, fresher side. The meal did not disappoint. The veggies were fresh and crisp, the rice was perfectly cooked, but the chicken… *chefs kiss* so tender and full of flavour! The sauce was mild and almost went unnoticed, in a good way, it added subtle taste but did not overpower the meal. Would definitely recommend. My boyfriend ordered the spicy chicken sandwich (or something to this effect) and he loved it! He loved the flavours and the presentation. He was a bit disheartened at the size of his Caesar salad but otherwise he was stoked. 9/10 recommend! I’ll have to visit in restaurant one day.

This spot was very lively when we were there just before dinner on a Saturday but we were still seated very quickly. All the servers were very nice, accommodating, and attentive. Their menu is very eclectic, with something for everyone (except kids, don't know if they have a kids menu but its not really a place for kids) and even a delicious looking brunch menu. My table ordered two different bowls, and two different burgers and everything was good. They have an extensive drink menu, and of course a rotating tap. Everything looked clean, and the guests around us were pleasant. Their menu seemed quite expensive to me at the time but the portions were a decent size. I'll be back here again I'm sure, but not for a while.

We went to dinner just before the Santana show. We were seated pretty quickly. We ordered drinks, then food & was surprised on how quickly it came. Our server Sean was really very good & very sociable, quite a very nice young man. We had a very nice time talking to him. This set up the mood for the Santana show. I would highly recommend this place. Food & service was excellent.

Had the Cajun Alfredo. Pasta was good. Got short changed on the chicken. Not even 1/2 of a chicken breast. Garlic bread wasn't toasted just warm. Service was good. Not worth the money I pd. Wouldn't recommend

Browns Socialhouse has always been a great place for my friends and I to visit on our rare days off together. Whenever the time comes our first choice is always to come to Browns, the environment is unmatched, the drinks are great and the service is even better. On a number of occasions we had the privilege of having Maggie as our server, she is the BEST. Maggie consistently goes above and beyond to give each and every guest the most amazing experience. Jenna is also awesome!

Had an awful day at work, so came to get some drinks with my friend. Our waitress Maxine was brilliant. We fumbled with the pin pad and she took it in good humour and was patient. I vented a little and she was comforting and polite, very funny. Made sure we both had safe rides home, and we where both attended to without having to wait for long periods of time. Was a lovely end to a horrid day. Will 100% come again for the great service.

Excellent brunch, Eggs Benedict was top notch and the hollandaise sauce is exquisite, and made fresh every morning. So to is the orange juice. Overall, a good breakfast that doesn’t leave you groggy, but ready to take on the day.

Shared an incredible meal and drinks with friends here last night and wow! Incredible food, impeccable service and an atmosphere that will keep us coming back! Looking for a night out for any occasion, this is definitely the spot!

Ive been to Browns before and loved it!!! great food, friendly service and cant wait to celebrate my birthday July 22nd there!

The food was incredible. The only real.concern is how they deal with major allergies. Most food establishments have a manager to come and speak with the allergy patron but nothing. They said oh ok and that was it. Had to double check multiple times yo makes.sure items were safe. Time could have been saved had a manager come and spoke.

Amazing service from Mitch & the rest of the Brown’s crew at the new location in Abbotsford.

Been there twice now. Both times service was incredibly slow. Over 25 minutes from the time a drink was ordered to getting it. Once completely forgotten about. Food had been the low end of mediocre with the exception of the dynamite roll which is fantastic and saves this from being a 1 star review. Admittedly they are new and very busy but even with that in mind the service is horrid. We will try again in the future when they have slowed down and if service improves the review will be amended. We have been to other browns locations and they have been very good, this new location has a long ways to go.
