Review Dake Japanese Restaurant - Abbotsford

All sushi taste great. Especially the crazy boy roll. Must also try their tempura. Crispy and not oily. Yam is sweet even better than French fries. Salad is fresh. Miso soup needs hotter. Would recommend to friends.

"All you can eat"! With extra $$. Weird! False advertising. - salmon only one order per person?!? Some dishes at extra charge?!? Like why?! - look at the cute little pieces of salmon they cut, so so so tiny couldn't even feel it my mouth. - fish was fresh and tasty, delicious, no questions ask. But mussels were old and salty. With cream on top the smell was awful. - Place is nice and warm, just felt something was off. 2 ⭐⭐ for fresh fish and beer.

Absolutely the best sushi place I've every been to! I still travel here from Calgary just to visit, and it's always a good time. Extremely fast, we got our our food under 5m after ordering! Large, good quality rolls and fish! I've gone with people who say they hate sushi and completely changed their minds based on this restaurant. I've been coming here since I was a little girl, and it's still incredible.

I pass through to Vancouver from Edmonton a few times a year, I stop in at Dake, I go for the all you can eat, I enjoy every well prepared morsel, they run a good Sushi Restaurant and I always make sure to tip for the kind service as I see it can be very busy sometimes. The cooks make amazing food, I don't mind the smaller sashimi, I prefer smaller hits as I find the taste more defined. One of my favorites, the salmon cheek...I have no idea why, but that cheek is so good and it feels like a healthy item for my body. I do wish the Restaurant was larger as I've noticed larger crowds, but I know that leases costs have risen absurdly in the Abbotsford region and throughout to whistler. Dake would be very welcome in Edmonton Alberta or Alberta in general, we appreciate quality made food by good people. Thank you Dake 😊

It’s okay. Not bad. Not exactly the best value but not the worst either. Spider roll has very little meat… typically you can see large pieces of soft shell crab at ends of the roll but not here. One roll literally had no meat at all… all rice and just seaweed. $30 later, this place is not worth it at all. However, they did follow instructions as per order except I didn’t ask for rice-only roll lol

Very good food, didn't expect this quality for all you can eat. Decent customer service, but need some efforts to make the place look a bit nicer. Also a bit more selections in the menu may help. They are not too far from 5 stars in my opinion

I've only ever ordered through doordash, due to my lack of proximity - but I can easily say it's the best sushi place in Abbotsford I've ever had, bar none. Everything I've ordered is always perfect; combined with the fact that it's cheaper than most places around - It's an absolute win-win.

I have been a customer for many years at this very amazing restaurant. Their food is always clean and tastes amazing… Respect to the amazing chefs and front and back end essential workers for always giving us such excellence in customer service and delicious food after all these years… This is the only Japanese restaurant I would ever eat from in Abbotsford as they truly care about us as customers and they deserve the highest respect for their excellence…thank you & Kudos!!
