Review Himalaya Indian Cuisine - Abbotsford

Recently tried Himalaya Indian Cuisine for the first time. The food was very flavourful and the atmosphere was good. However, the service was extremely poor. We had to request a second menu since they only gave us one. Additionally, servers were not very friendly, they do not come back to your table after serving you. We wanted to order dessert and despite making eye contact with a few waiters to get their attention, they avoided our table completely while seating others in the same area. New customers be aware, you have to pay at the front, they will not come back to your table to give you a receipt or ask if you need anything else. Personally, I don't think I would dine in again due to the poor service, I hopes the management looks into this. For now, I would probably order take out.

The sabzi portions have been changed and are now the size of a bowl. They did not even taste that good. They were way too expensive for what we got. The naans were okay though. In the end I’d rate it a 2/10 I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for an Indian restaurant in Abbotsford.

We ordered chicken and Naan for dinner takeout. We were told it would be ready in 25 minutes.Waited for 1.5 hours! Others were waiting as well. People were frustrated and upset. One person had Waited almost 2 hours. Our khadhai chicken was without flavor. The Naan were cold. Extremely disappointed with bad customer service and terrible food. We have ordered here before but today was our last time. There are plenty of other Indian restaurants in Abbotsford.

Ambience was good. Table were not sanitized. Service was okay. Quantity compared to price was just not worth it. Taste couldn't compensate to that extent for Chicken Curry(Main Course) with Garlic Naan or Gajrela in dessert. Not going again.

Hit or miss Mostly, the food is really good and sometimes it is totally flavor less. Few days ago the food was delicious, flavoulful with good balance of spices. Very nice and thick soup served at a good hot temperature. Recently ordered the same items and it was a depressing show with very diluted soup and curries. Lacked flavour. Maybe, it was just a very busy day for them. Will give it another try.

Very unprofessional, I regularly go to this restaurant. Today I reach with my family at 9:35pm. The receptionist told they are not taking any dine after 9:30. They even declined our request. While we were ordering food for take out, another group came and asked for a table. They first said no to them. But then allow them for dine in. It was very bad experience for us. They need to be more professional and treat all customers sam.

Had a dinner this monday. Food and customer service was excellent. Stuffed tandoori mushrooms are too good. Chefs have a great experience and taste in their hands. Will visit them soon….

Not only was the food and atmosphere great, but the lady sitting behind me paid for my lunch without telling me 🥺🥰 If you are reading this I thank you with all my heart! This is why I love Indian people ❤❤

Very friendly staff, amazing great quality classic food. Couldn't get enough of the flavours, definitely one of the better Indian restaurants i have come across in the past few years

Amazing lunch buffet with lots of variety and excellent service. Will make you gluten-free bread if you ask :)

Chose H.I.C. for our family Christmas Dinner. We loved the food; service was excellent.

I got take out order from there, was not satisfied with the explanation about dishes,and not happy with my dishes at all, Veg pakoras were nightmare. Naans were ok but overall not happy.

Great food! With a full delivery service and a good selection of Indian style Chinese dishes, Himalayan Indian cuisine is the newest curry house in Abbotsford, and I highly recommend it.

The daily buffet is amazing and everything is consistently fresh, flavorful and delicious. The owners and waitress are always very friendly and accommodating. Plus, they offer a wide variety of tasty vegan options.
