Good place to eat. They make the bread for the Donair fresh for your order so its quite delicious.

Great owner but the food doesn’t taste good, falafel has so much oil in it! The great thing about this place is the bread 🥖, freshly cooked!

Tasty food as usual. Hope tgey can be more friendly and serve donairs faster.

A touch on the slow side for a donair but I would attribute that to the fact they make and cook their bread fresh for each order. Meat was nicely flavored, donair did not have the heavy sauces most places use so the flavor of the meats and vegetables really came through. The fresh bread was soft inside with a nice crust on the exterior to add a bit of crunch. Excellent overall and reasonably priced.

Have went here twice after the gym because its so close, filling and tasty. It's like a little hole in the wall that most people might turn their noses up at but you should know, those are typically the best places to go. Went one day with a friend at lunch time, ordered our food, and found out we had to wait 20 minutes for fresh meat. Yes, I will wait. You are worth it. Good food, fresh food is worth waiting for. I think it may be a husband/wife duo doing most of the work, they don't speak the best English but we can all get our points across well enough. Don't go in here with a substitution mind-set, order whats on the menu and eat that. If you're a picky eater I feel sorry for you and I hope you grow out of it.

Amazing Donair! Went here for the first time tonight based on reviews on Google and reviews from a community group that I'm a part of. Will definitely be coming back here. My husband had the beef and I had the chicken. The quality was great and portions are huge! They bake the bread for the Donair fresh when you order it. Can't get better than that! The place was packed, that's always a good sign. My goodness I'm so full but it was worth it.

Didn’t enjoy at all.. - First of all we were waiting for 15 minutes. They literally forgot about us (even though there were only 3 customers there). Only after 15 minutes we were asked if we want to stay or to go.. - The pita bread was big and thick. But not enough stuffing inside. We left a place still hungry - They also don’t have any choice of ingredients or sauces

Food was reasonable, staff was rude and took a while to get my order right. The price should be lower for the quality and service but overall, not bad. I would go back.

Best donairs ever!!!!! Tried other places but just get disappointed because Donairo's makes the best food ever!!! I highly recommend them. The owners are wonderful people. Was sad when their first location burned and they closed. We were so excited when they reopened down the road. My friend from Las Vegas makes sure she goes there every time she comes up. She said they are addicting and are awesome donairs. Do yourself a favor and eat there. No one leaves disappointed. I am a lifetime customer. You will be too!!!!

Had a beef donair, meatsa and baclava. Meatsa had a nice honey bbq taste but was a bit to greesy. Donair was quite tasty but a little light on meat. Baclava also had a honey sweetness but was a bit plain and crumbly otherwise. Decent location overall but has room for improvement.

Yummy Donairs! Best I've had in Abbotsford so far! They Take a while to make but so worth the wait :) Will definitely be returning to this place very soon!

A simple and uncluttered setting with few things to distract you from your meal. It didn't take us long to decide, with a focussed menu and a no frills type of feel. The spinning spools sharwama and chicken looked fresh with crispy edges, just the way I like it. Finding such establishments that serve like "sandwiches" without scooping and microwaving is difficult to find, so I hoped this would be be different; and it was. We ordered two chicken sharwamas, and we sat and waited while they were made - freshly shaved of the spool, crispy and juicy pieces filling the large pita. The garnishes were fresh and plentiful, making it one of the largest sharwamas I have ever eaten.<br/>We were surprised with the price, since the above pictures of the menu were outdated and an increase of $2 more per sharwama; making the bill over $20, which means I will take it off my "Cheap Eats" list but I will still retain it for my return to Abottsford.<br/>I have little to say about the service, but as far as I can tell, one does not come here for the service, they come here to buy, eat and leave satisfied.

The best donairs I have ever had! Donairs always take a while to make, but the soft, savoury wrap mixed with the meat, tomatoes, and lettuce is worth the wait. And the sauce (oh, the sauce!) is excellent.

Cannot go wrong with portion or price! The service and location leave much to be desired for so just don't expect anything when you head here.

Best donair ive had. Ive had many donairs around canada/usa and various other countries and this is honestly the best ive ever had. Bread made fresh to order really caps off the already amazing taste. Try it.

Food is Fantastic. Service is horrible.. The owner is rude. The service is mind-numbingly slow. The restaurant is not the cleanest or best looking place. But the food is ridiculously good. Like really really good. HUGE portions too. <br/>If you're big on customer service go somewhere else, but if you don't mind putting up with rude staff and a 20-minute wait (minimum) you're in for a great donair.

Delicious fresh food!. Everything is made fresh right after you order it. The homemade bread is warm and baked just for you. The meats are so tasty and the falafel is also delicious. Wonderful food from a hardworking family business.

Happy It's Re-opened. So glad it is re-opened and relocated to a larger cleaner place. Same friendly people, same amazing food.

Not authentic Halifax donairs. Menu said Halifax donairs but they need to visit Halifax I think. Had feta cheese on it not something I see I Halifax .... and wrap was not good and had weird smell to it. We won't be back.

New location?. I saw a Donairo's sign on McCallum Road across from Jubilee Park (corner of Braun Ave). Newspaper in the windows could be a sign that something will open soon!<br/><br/>Their food is amazing, so I hope it's true :)

Today i walked by donairos and im sad to say that something happened and it was burnt inside plus the glass was majorly damaged outside. i ate there a few weeks ago and the huge donairs were amazing

I've never felt compelled to write a review about a restaurant until today. My fiancé and I were on our way home this evening and had a craving for shawarma from our favourite place. Sadly when we arrived at Donarios, fire crews were onscene and there was extensive fire and smoke damage to the restaurant. I hope everyone is safe and that they are able to reopen. My fiancé and I go there almost once a week.Shawarma has become one of my favourite meals and Donarios was by far the best I ever had!

So been there like 50 times the last 2 did it for me they were cheap on meat and the Halifax sauce was disturbing last time and . Did really like that place

Shocked. One day I felt like a donair, and said so to my husband. He suggested the little place by AAA. There is a Donair place there? Well, I have lived in Abby for 15 years, didn't know it existed. Wow what a find. this place was So incredibly good. The pita was fresh made to order, the meat delicious sauces the same, overall. BEST DONAIR!! We intend to become regulars here and taste the menu!

Great donairs. Fresh ingredients and hand made wraps. Just don't order their samosas. They were really greasy owns not very good. But the donairos are awesome.

The best donairs in Western Cananda. Hands down the best donairs in Western Cananda! The pita is made to order and the meat is sliced to order. I wish we had a place like this in Victoria.

AMAZING!!!. Love this place. love how they make the pita fresh to order. all ingredients are fresh. so delicious. comes with free can of pop (they even have 3 types of fanta! i love it!) and lamb is the same cost as chicken or beef, which is nice. since everything is made to order, the service is not fast. it is worth it, but if you're in a rush, prepared to be late. you'll want to wait. SO GOOD. was here twice this past week. donairs are good (the flavours literally spill out from the warm pita). schwarma plates are good. try everything!

The best donair ever!!. First off they make/bake their pita by hand, fresh, right in front of you.<br/><br/>Secondly they cut their meat off the spit fresh, right in front of you.<br/><br/>None of that soggy meat sitting in a container with a pita from safeway garbage.<br/><br/>A+++++ will go back again. The BEST donair there is. The pita is handmade to order, the meat is cut when you order (i.e. it is put on the flat-top grill to order, they do not keep it in some container). Free can of pop with your donair. Owned by a really cute couple. Get in your car and get one.

This place has the best donairs in probbly North America. I eat here atleast once a month and drive about 1 hour to get here. You must go now!!!
