Review Jasmine Garden Restaurant - Abbotsford

I think it's time for the Jasmine Garden to do some pruning. It may have been great in the past, but it is now overgrown. Some of the staff were helpful, but others were lazy. we waited way too long to make our order. We used to get tea, but this time e had to even order water. There were no condiments on the table and what came with the "egg rolls" was old and leaking. We ordered the dinner for four and found it very underwhelming. The stir fried vegetables were too large and had to each be cut, and the "sweet & sour" was just "red & sticky". The deep fried "prawns" were just under-cooked doughy tempura shrimp. The wasrooms were a disaster, and the hall to them was blocked with all sorts of supplies. I think most of the reviews are coming from 55+ clients who have never had authentic Chinese food. This restaurant caters to those who thought Mama Panda was fine Asian cuisine. I can't recommend this establishment.

Food is very average. Service I give 5/10 over priced food Extra pay for sauce or vegitable we for vegetables instead of meet and paid extra. I don't thing I recommend this for Gluten free or vegetarian..

Four stars for being in Abbotsford with somewhat authentic Chinese dishes. Pros: decent smoke duck meat, fresh shrimp chips, crispy spring rolls, nice amount of ingredients in hotpot, amazing fried chicken wings (they got devoured before I had the chance taking any photos) Cons: duck needs crispy skin, dried fried beans weren't fried or flavoured the traditional way (still taste good though), dated and dimmed interior.

Food came fast and was tasty. Was $29.00 for 3 lunch special meals with huge portions. Have to say it was the best service we have had in a long time. The two waitresses were on their game. Will definitely be back to check out the regular menu.

Ordered over the phone, was given a time that food would be ready and that was accurate. To be completely honest the food was average. S&S chicken balls were good, beef Szechuan was lacking in sauce and flavour, chow mein had no veg and was dry and the egg rolls were underwhelming. Premium price for average food unfortunately.

Excellent Chinese every time. I won’t order from anywhere else. Also, they have the nicest people who answer the phone. Big thumbs up!

Food was delicious. Service was quick and friendly. Only complaint. Was a emoyees kid in the back, was loud playing.

It's been awhile since my wife, daughter and I have been here because we live out of town but we look forward to having their food when we are in town! Best Chinese food in the Valley!!!! We've been going here for over ten years, the food is great and worth the drive in from Chilliwack to get take-away! Clarisa is the best hostess, always remembers your name and always makes you feel like family! See you soon! <3

Yes it was sooooooooo good best place in Abby for chinese food. Had a nice visit with my Boy Hart, David Corrie and his wife Nina, Julia and Johnny a fun dinner with Cho cake for dessert

Great food, great people .. was chatting about what our school is doing for needy families for Christmas, and one of the owners comes to our school with armfuls of toys for kids, so many toys, I can't even count. That is the type of quality establishment that will have my friends and I returning time and time again.Thanks so much hugs

The best Chinese food in Abbotsford. Also the atmosphere is friendly and yet professional.

We drive about 30 minutes for this VERY good food!!!! The owners are the kindest people ever and the food and service is terrific. Consistent and always fast whether it's eat-in, take out or delivery. Menu is not too long but there's a terrific selection. I'm a picky eater and I've never disliked ANYTHING I've tried. Prices are VERY reasonable and portions are generous!! LOVE that they always remember our names!!

Best Chinese food in town, wonderful service, inviting faces. Ample serving size, always leftovers. I'm not one to write reviews but I feel compelled because this is a great family owned restaurant that should be recognized.
