Review Bavaria Restaurant - Abbotsford

The parking is not so good since we had a hard time finding a parking spot. We waited for an hour since we didn’t have reservation. But it was worth the wait,It was nice that they let us sit on the booth section even we’re just two who dined in. The ambience, food and people were great.

Great food and friendly staff. The price matches the food and service quality as well as the great atmosphere.

We were at this restaurant last night to celebrate my husband's birthday. We were a party of 9 and basically the entire staff was friendly and very accommodating! The server was especially nice and and thorough. We all loved our meals. Looks like not much from the outside but the food really is good, huge portions. Definitely can see the staff is a great team. They also made my baby niece's day, they were so good to her!

Steak taste tender and juicy. Bake potatoes are nice. Pizza is crispy. Would come back again.

First time visiting this place. Ordered the chicken schnitzel. Huge portions. The red cabbage reminded me of my mom's. So good. Finished off the meal with a piece of black forest cake. Light, fluffy and oh so delicious. Will be returning to try other things on the menu.

Always a nice evening at Bavarian Restaurant. Splurged for my hubby's birthday and got the Chateaubriand. Unfortunately it did not live up to taste/quality expectations. Felt that there could have been a bit more quality on the sides. The mashed potatoes were not as good as before and were Luke warm. Goulash was awesome and I love the side bread they serve with it. Had mushrooms Neptune to start and they were very good. The steak was not prepared the way I had read " Chateaubriand (sometimes called chateaubriand steak) is a dish that traditionally consists of a large center cut fillet of tenderloin grilled between two lesser pieces of meat that are discarded after cooking." And it was pretty crispy on the entire outside which was dissapointing.

We were intending on having Greek that night but discovered this gem instead and took a chance. Glad we did! Make a reservation, otherwise you might have a short wait--but still you'll be glad your patience pays off. Food is top notch and so is the service. We would gladly drive out from Vancouver again. Their red cabbage is REALLY good...one of the best, I think. Schnitzel is oh so tender. Spaetzel done the traditional German way, from scratch. You won't be disappointed.

I've never had a bad meal here. The atmosphere is great for special occasions or just a quick dinner on your own. They have great drinks, love the menu options and food portions are very generous. Service is excellent. Literally no complaints.

Absolutely loved this place! Have never been before but will definitely be our new go-to place. From excellent service...bartender, servers, hostess, to food and beverages... fabulous!! We'll be back!

I love this place. It is easily the best restaurant in Abbotsford! From the friendly owners to the gracious staff this is our family’s go to spot for celebrating any special event. Great food, great value and great times await you at the Bavaria House!

This is our favourite restaurant! Ambiance, service and food are always top notch, even when they are busy which is most of the time. Last night was my partner Russ's 60th birthday and they treated him like a king, more like a member of the family. The dinner was delicious in spite of them being short a cook and we couldn't have asked for better service! Menu has lots of varied choices, nice wine list and great desserts. Thank you Dana and Dana-Lee, so much!!

One of Abbotsfords best restaurants. Great food, atmosphere, and amazing staff. Excellent value. I highly recommend them

The prime rib melts in your mouth, the garlic mashed potatoes are worth what they do to your calorie cap, and the service was excellent - which is hard to do for a party of 14 when every table in the restaurant is full! The pricing is on par with any other steakhouse, but prices are lower than The Keg. The only downside is the limited parking, so it's better to walk, carpool, or cab if you can.

Once again great food and service you can never go wrong with going out for a nice dinner at Bavaria .30 years we have been eating there plus our kids go and our grandson and they will be eating there for another 30 years keep up the good work best place in Abby Hands down !!

Food was good and hot. Service also good. I do suggest adding some garlic butter to the toast and a lemon wedge with the mushroom caps.

Absolutely loved our meals was the best dinner I can honestly say I’ve had at a restaurant! Will defiantly be returning ! Thank you for making My Hubbys Birthday so special!

The peppercorn stake is amazing along with the garlic mashed potatoes. The staff is super nice and are on it when they see your drink is getting low. Shout out to our girl Dana who has been working there forever and is our favorite server!!!

We had an excellent night here! Great food and the service was fabulous. Definitely recommend.

I've been coming here for like 20 years, and I've never been disappointed. But last night the food was very salty, everything was, except the veggies, soup and wine. All those were delicious, and service was great as usual, but was quite shocked actually because it's always been phenomenal, so was a bit disappointed.

Oysters were on the small side but still good. The Warsteiner had a very peculiar taste. I have not drunk it in years but I do not remember it tasting like this. Not one of my favourites. I prefer Krombacher. The schnitzel was perfectly cooked but the sauce could have used more mushrooms in the sauce and the sauce seemed over cooked a bit. I have had schnitzel in Germany multiple times over multiple trips so I am fussy. Perhaps I am picking at straws but overall it was a good meal.

Always good and good service. Have been going there for 40 yrs since the parents owned it. If you didn't eat all your food back then Mama would give you hell. She was awesome

Food is amazing service is always good, they always are able to get us in right away even last min on a Friday night, my hubby and I love it here.

Always a great meal! I go there for the soup and red cabbage. The cheesecake was exceptionally good last night as well!
